I made this mood board because my music video draws attention to the on going knife crime epidemic highly within London but in more recent years developing in other cities and even suburban areas. I've used photos of a few popular artists within the trap music and 'Drill' scene who rose to fame in correlation to the increased numbers of knifer crime and its fatalities. This correlation is seen to be a direct cause of knife crime rising as popular artists rose to fame by glamorising the lifestyles they live to young people who listen to the artists songs and watch the graphic music videos posted online. as the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) statistics show 4,562 of 22,286 offences leading to cautions or convictions involved children aged 10 to 17. Knife crime and offensive weapons offences involving juveniles in England and Wales has reached the highest point since 2009 when 5,554 crimes were recorded. My music videos aims to present the realities of knife crime and to almost counter act the other graphic and explicit videos and music posted online, my mood board shows this is my idea as it shows images of police, forensics and disturbing images of people being attacked by knives which shows the side of knife crime your favourite 'Drill' artist wont show you in their conventional rap videos.
